Just months after graduating from Moapa Valley High School, Karter is already building a bright future.
Karter secured a position with Granite Construction in Las Vegas, earning $38 per hour while working approximately 50 hours each week. In January, he began training at the Richard W. Dieleman Training & Education Center and is also on track to earn his Commercial Driver’s License in the coming months.
At an age when many young adults are still exploring their options, Karter is laying the foundation for a successful career. His journey reflects the opportunities JAG Nevada helps students discover during high school and the continued support available after graduation to help turn goals into reality.
