The annual Career Development Conference brings youth from all over Nevada to compete, learn and network. We need community members to volunteer, judge, lead workshops & sponsor the annual event.
There’s no substitute for hands-on experience with businesses in the workplace setting. Opportunities for Career Exploration including hosting job site tours, internships, work-based learning and more.
JAG Nevada is powered by the investments of businesses, foundations and individuals, and 80 percent of every dollar goes directly to student services and support. JAG Nevada was designed to serve as a vehicle for public/private partnerships, and also braids in state funding.

Victor joined the JAG Nevada program and quickly emerged as an effective and dynamic leader, even while facing economic and academic barriers. That’s where JAG came in. Through the program, Victor received tutoring and other supportive services that helped him overcome those challenges.
His leadership and dedication earned him opportunities to travel across the country representing JAG Nevada. Today, he serves as a JAG Nevada intern, providing guidance, mentorship, and training to current participants.
This fall, Victor plans to attend college to pursue a bachelor’s degree in psychology while working full-time with JAG Nevada, continuing his commitment to service and leadership. Passionate about advocacy, innovation, and youth empowerment, he is determined to help the next generation of students thrive while proudly supporting the JAG team.
