When Analina joined JAG as a senior at Boulder City High School in fall 2024, she had accumulated 187 absences and was failing multiple classes. Graduation felt out of reach until she made the decision to turn things around.
With the support of her JAG Specialist Analina committed to showing up. During her senior year, she missed only five days of school, passed all of her classes, and proudly graduated with her classmates in May 2025.
Graduation was not the end of her JAG journey. Like all JAG participants, Analina continued receiving support for 12 months after high school as she transitioned into adulthood. During that time, JAG Nevada helped her identify a career pathway, apply for college, secure financial assistance, and build the financial literacy skills needed to manage life after graduation.
Today, Analina is preparing for her second year of college while working part time and maintaining her own apartment.
Through JAG Nevada, she gained more than a diploma. She built the skills, confidence, resilience, and support network needed to continue creating the future she once thought was beyond reach.
