Careers in the Federal Legal System

This spring, U.S. Magistrate Judge Brenda Weksler assembled a team of legal professionals to participate in a panel discussion about careers in the federal legal system, including careers in FBI, Crime Scene Investigation, Law Enforcement and many others.  The panel discussion was virtual and made available to the J4NG youth in Clark County.

Seniors were given the opportunity to put together a career pathway video in the field of their choice and compete for prize packages that included a cash award and the opportunity for a career exploration experience.  The goals of the presentation were to clarify the steps to obtaining the necessary credentials, identify possible stumbling blocks and explain the benefit of their future career to the community.

This link shows the 7 semi-finalist presentations – Enjoy!
